Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-06
These terms are an agreement between you and M. Marcos, who operates Postcove (postcove.net), based in Portugal ("Postcove", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Postcove, including its API, its MCP server and its integration in FolioPress, you agree to them. If you use Postcove for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.
1. The service
Postcove lets you connect social media accounts and publish posts to them, now or at a time you choose. You can create those posts:
- on postcove.net
- through our API
- through AI assistants connected to our MCP server
- from FolioPress
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 and give accurate information.
- Keep your password and API keys secret. You're responsible for what happens with your account and keys, including posts created through the API or an AI assistant you connected.
- Tell us at [email protected] if you think your account or a key has been misused.
3. Connected accounts and platform rules
- You may connect only accounts you own or are authorised to manage.
- When you post through Postcove, you must also follow each platform's own terms and rules (for example on spam, automation and content). A platform can limit, suspend or remove accounts or posts under its rules; that's between you and the platform.
- Platforms change their APIs, prices and rules. If a platform stops or limits what Postcove can do, we may have to change or drop support for it. We'll tell you in advance when we can.
4. Your content
- You keep all rights to what you post. You give us a licence to store, process and publish your content, only to provide the service to you.
- You're responsible for your content and for having the rights to it. Don't use Postcove to post anything unlawful, deceptive, hateful, infringing, or meant to harass people.
5. Acceptable use
Don't:
- send spam or run engagement schemes (fake likes, follows or comments)
- post the same content across many accounts in ways a platform forbids
- try to get around a platform's or our limits
- access other people's data
- probe or overload our systems
- resell API access without our written permission
We may suspend accounts that do, and we'll explain why unless the law or security stops us.
6. Plans, payment and cancellation
- Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment provider, Polar, which acts as merchant of record and handles invoices and taxes.
- Some usage, such as posting to X, may cost extra; we show the price before you use it.
- You can cancel any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. When you start using a paid plan during that period, you agree it begins straight away. If you withdraw, you pay only for the part you used.
- We'll tell you at least 30 days before a price change, which applies from your next billing period.
7. Availability
We work to keep Postcove running and to publish every post once, on time. But platforms, networks and our providers can fail, and we can't guarantee that a post will go out at an exact moment, or at all, when a platform is unavailable or refuses it. When a post fails, we tell you why.
8. Ending your use
- You can delete your account at any time (see data deletion).
- We can end or suspend the service for you if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we have to stop Postcove. When we stop Postcove, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your data.
9. Liability
- We provide Postcove with reasonable care and skill.
- To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for:
- indirect or consequential loss
- lost profits, followers or reach
- what platforms do with your accounts or posts
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For significant changes, we'll tell account holders by email at least 30 days ahead; continuing to use Postcove after that means you accept them. If you don't, you can cancel before they apply.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and can bring claims there.
